The rich ecosystems and the variety of the landscape, comprising both sea and mountains, make this area a paradise for nature lovers and outdoor sports enthusiasts.

One of the most interesting nature and history trails is the Cornate di Gerfalco: a 17 km trekking route that runs through some of the most beautiful little mediaeval villages in the Pisa area, climbing up to a peak from which, on a clear day, you can enjoy marvellous views over the islands in the Tuscan Archipelago and Corsica.

Horse-riding enthusiasts will also love the trails through the local pine grove, and individual lessons are also offered. And near our Resort, golfers will find the nine-hole Tirrenia Golf Club, surrounded by the pine trees.
